Zurich Airport railway station (German: Bahnhof SBB Zürich Flughafen) is a railway station located underneath Check In 3, inside the terminal of Zurich Airport (German: Flughafen Zürich) (IATA code: ZRH), in Kloten, Zurich, Switzerland.
The station is located on the airport railway line between Oerlikon and Bassersdorf, which was opened in 1980. That line, in turn, forms part of the main SBB-CFF-FFS railway line linking Zürich Hauptbahnhof with Winterthur.
All long distance trains between Zurich and Winterthur, as well as Zurich S-Bahn trains on lines S 2 and S 16 , stop at the station.
Originally, the station was planned as an only Intercity-station. It has four platforms with 400 metres length and it is used by approximately 300 trains per day.
